Agents will eat the world—perhaps literally, but more likely figuratively. Until then, we would like to build the best-in-class systems to augment functions across our company with an eye to spinning out these learnings into a public platform in the future. Do you have the skill to massage silicon intelligence into fruitful work? Are you interested in embracing your creativity and AI's capabilities to create unexpected and powerful interactions? Join us in shaping the future of AI-powered automation.
Nethermind is a Blockchain Research and Software Engineering company. We empower enterprises and developers worldwide to access and build on the decentralized web. Our work touches every part of the blockchain ecosystem - from fundamental cryptography research to application-layer protocol development.
We seek experienced and passionate software engineers with experience in AI/ML to join our growing AI assistant team. Successful candidates will support an end-to-end pipeline of creating agents - including research, design, development, and testing AI tools/agents to automate many functions of our delivery. The successful candidates will embody the entrepreneurial spirit, possess self-drive, and demonstrate a genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence. If you are passionate about shaping the future of technology and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with us.
Responsibilities:
Perform R&D in the area of incorporating LLMs across critical company-wide operations
Quickly prototype, architect and implement sophisticated LLM-based solutions from concept to production
Work and experiment with the latest tools and technologies in AI
Work with top software engineers and research professionals to solve the toughest technical challenges
Stay updated with new developments and research in the AI/ML space (LLM in particular)
Skills:
Excellent programming skills, with knowledge of Python preferred
Deep expertise in software architecture patterns and best practices
Experience with the development of LLM-based solutions (including but not limited to prompt-engineering, frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex)
Research, learning and ideating-oriented mindset
Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code without over-engineering
Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and similar tools
An entrepreneurial nature, willing to take ownership and run toward problems
Proven track record of production grade software delivery
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset for designing, validating and comparing experiment results
A Deep passion for navigating the dynamic and fast-paced world of AI innovation, coupled with a drive to share these advances with others
Nice to have:
Experience in designing RAG solutions, usage of vector databases, and incorporating novel techniques like GraphRAG
Some experience with LLM fine-tuning, including model quantization and model self-hosting
Knowledge of LLM-related security concerns like prompt injection, data poisoning, etc.
A fascination with the inner workings of AI systems, from neural nets to recommendation algorithms.
Having activity on GitHub is a significant advantage (please include links to projects or PRs that you have submitted to external projects)
