Account Receivable Accountant

We are looking for a Account Receivable Accountant to work with Wonolo’s Finance team in day-to-day functions. You will be employed by a third-party legal entity authorized to do business in the location in which you reside and you will provide contractual services to Wonolo’s Finance team. You will work collaborate cross-functionally with different teams throughout the organization, provide critical accounting support, and work to enhance operational efficiency. This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale products and lead key architectural initiatives. You will be a big driver in delivering a world-class customer experience.

What you'll do:
Assist in accounts receivable functions, reporting, and collections
Prepare and generate accurate customer invoices
Create CSV import files; Enter and reconcile data in Excel
Resolve discrepancies through research and communication with internal departments
Perform collection activities, including reaching out to customers on overdue accounts
Answer billing-related emails
Communicate important information with the team
Who you are:
Must be detail-oriented, technically skilled, and have experience using third-party software including MS Office products; must be able to quickly learn different software/applications
Able to work in a deadline-oriented environment
Collects and analyzes systems and operational data. Provides recommendations to improve the efficiency of operations.
Microsoft Excel; use advanced functionality (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Arrays) to create reports.
