Position Summary
The Paid Social Manager will take charge of shaping and executing the strategy for a dynamic, in-house paid social program, driving both new customer acquisition and brand loyalty. This role will be the creative and strategic heartbeat behind our paid social channels, constantly analyzing performance and identifying opportunities to fuel growth.
Partnering closely with the creative team, the Paid Social Manager will craft eye-catching, scroll-stopping ad content that captivates our audience. Collaboration is key, working hand-in-hand with teams across organic social, influencer marketing, CRM, and site to create powerful, data-driven audience strategies that amplify brand impact and performance.
As a key player in the Growth Marketing team, this role blends the art of storytelling with the science of performance, driving results that elevate the brand to new heights.
- Lead paid social strategy with a focus on driving new customer acquisition
- Manage the paid social budget to maximize revenue and hit KPIs, leveraging historical data and the Hanna marketing calendar to inform planning Own day-to-day channel management, including bid and budget optimization, creative launches and iteration, audience building, testing and targeting & reporting
- Evaluate campaign data to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and drive growth
- Report on paid social performance in weekly and monthly meetings, making recommendations to optimize based on data, inclusive of testing results
- Develop a testing roadmap for creatives, audiences, landing pages, campaign structure, etc., and share learnings with the broader digital team
- Develop comprehensive briefs and build relationships with the creative team to create engaging ads that drive performance
- Lead monthly creative performance meetings with the brand team and other channel leads showcasing top and bottom-performing concepts and recommending new tests
- Collaborate with the organic social and influencer teams to share learnings cross-functionally and develop collective best practices
- Work with partners to stay up to date on best practices, explore new platform opportunities and secure access to beta features
- Evaluate campaign and creative success based on multiple inputs including last-click data, incrementally measures and in-platform engagement data
- Support other paid channels, including direct mail to aid in new customer acquisition and customer retention
- 5+ years of direct experience owning paid social management where you were responsible for channel strategy, campaign execution, and budget management across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Intermediate experience with marketing analytics tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, and Looker and proficiency within Excel to measure performance and identify actionable insights
- Understanding of other digital marketing channels including paid search, display, direct mail, and affiliate
- Experience working cross-functionally with influencer, organic social, and creative teams
- Genuine sense of curiosity and ability to develop testing plans from hypothesis to measurement and iteration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in Paid Social Media in both in-house and agency, strongly preferred
- Portland, OR - hybrid highly preferred
- Open to remote (west coast)
